TROX APO STAFF MOVEMENTS 2022

Mr. Scott Smith will join TROX Malaysia as the Sales Director effective 1st July, 2022. Scott holds a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, USA. Before joining TROX Scott worked for the petrochemical company, Afton Chemical, headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, USA. Over the course of 15 years with the company he has held various roles including most recently as Technical Sales Manager responsible for the Latin America and Technical Manager for Asia Pacific

In addition, Scott has authored several technical publications for the Society of Automotive Engineering and holds a US patent in the automotive industry We welcome Scott to the TROX family and wish him success in his contributions to Malaysia & SEA.

Effective 1st July 2022, Mr. Max Missbichler will take up the position Head of Technical – SEA and is a member of the Extended Board of Directors. Max has been working with TROX Malaysia since January 2008.

Before joining TROX Malaysia Max was employed at TROX Austria for 6 years and joined TROX Malaysia as Senior Sales Manager thereon took up the position of Head of Sales and Technical.

With his technical background, Max brought considerable product and application experience with him to TROX Malaysia and has been instrumental in the development of the commercial product sales within the region together with the opening of new market opportunities. Amongst these has been the introduction of air/water solutions to Asia Pacific which resulted in the introduction of the DID manufacturing line in Malaysia in 2010. Max spearheaded the sales of this technology within Asia Pacific and secured reference projects in all major markets. With this new role, Max will focus on TROX Academy, product development and new innovations. Max is a member of ASHREA for over 10 years.

In addition to his contribution to TROX, Max has also contributed much to the local community with his involvement with the local branch of the Rotary Club and other charitable works.

With his considerable experience within TROX, we believe Max will continue providing excellent service to TROX APO. We wish Max a successful continuation of his career with our company.
